Job Qualifications

Marion Elementary School is seeking a NYS certified teacher to serve as a long term substitute elementary teacher for our Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program.  Candidates must be certified in early childhood education (birth-2) or related area.  Experience with preschool-aged children preferred.  The candidate will provide daily instruction, maintain routines in the UPK classroom, deliver engaging lessons aligned with district curriculum and teacher plans and support social, emotional, and academic growth of all students, The successful candidate should have strong communication, collaboration, classroom management skills and a good knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices.  To learn more about what makes Marion different, click here.
