Certified Elementary Building Substitute Teacher (2026-2027 School Year)

• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: 7:40 a.m. – 3:10 p.m.
• Salary: $175 per day

Marion CSD is seeking a Certified Building Substitute Teacher for Marion Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a daily building substitute position that provides consistent, school-year employment in the elementary building. The successful candidate will report to the elementary school each school day and provide classroom coverage as needed. This position is compensated on a per diem basis and does not include benefits.

 

 

Job Qualifications

• Valid New York State (NYS) Teacher Certification required.
• A person of high integrity who consistently places students’ needs above their own professional preferences.
• High level of flexibility and adaptability in daily assignments and duties.
• Ability to deliver engaging, personalized, and innovative lessons across various elementary grade levels.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with grade-level and instructional teams.
• Dedicated to supporting both the academic and social-emotional growth of all students.
